Landscape, Snapshots, Umm? No Comments Childrens Footprints
Footprints on the sand are nothing new, but I always wonder who made them. Both of these are children’s footprints, but the beach was almost deserted, no children around. Are they together? Or did they just happen to pass this same spot at different times? Which one was first?
We shall never know.

It was cold, 1C or thereabouts, and the sun had just dipped below the horizon. You can just see the reflection in the sky from the high ice crystals. Magic.

Architecture, Art, Landscape, Places No Comments Giant Metal Cactus Invades Island
The Cactus Garden was the last work of César Manrique, finished in Lanzarote in 1991. This huge (6m) metal cactus stands outside it on the roadside. If you are going to advertise a Cactus Garden then a BIG cactus is a good idea. Sadly they did not have any portable versions in the gift shop, so there is a business opportunity for someone perhaps?
